Colin Powell & * Reuters pic: the eyes never lie

"President George W. Bush (news - web sites) talks with his Cabinet next to Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - web sites) in the West Wing of the White House in Washington, February 2, 2004."

That's one happy Secretary of State we have there, folks. Look at the admiring glance he's shooting Dubya as he describes his...er...ahem..."package."

1. Wow, I guess he's not a charter member of the GWB Fan Club.
Considering that they used him, chewed him up, and spit him out (over and over again) I wouldn't think that Colon could stand to be in the same room with Commander Doofus, let alone sit next to him anywhere.

3. whatever respect I had for Powell is LONG gone after the UN speech
He sat there and made no case at all. Lied through his teeth. Hyped a bunch of nothing. Has backed these crooks 100%.

He's an accomplice.

7. never did
like McCain. Any adult who makes a crack about a child the way he did about Chelsea Clinton has a low, mean streak.

And now for him to stump for Bush after the way the Bush people savaged him here in the 2000 SC primary, speaks volumes starting with: he too has sold his soul.

6. exactly, Powell
can rot in hell with the rest of 'em. He made his bed with lying, thieving bastards. And he is as culpable for the hundreds of dead Americans and thousands of dead Iraqis as Bush. He is grievously undeserving of any sympathy or respect. Rather he merits only unremitting disdain and loathing.

5. Can anyone recall Powell's role in Vietnam?
He covered up the My Lai Massacre, whitewashing the whole thing and sweeping it under the rug. How nice of him.

8. Bush looks like one of comedian Robin Williams' characters.
I'm struggling with which one though, please help. It's the mealy-mouthed ineffectual one.

10. Shrub looks glassy-eyed as well. I'm guessing he's not sleeping well.
I don't think a tranquilizer would give him that watery eyed look.

Unless, of course, he's drinking at night now.

And god, just to pile on a bit, why does Shrub's hair always look so fuzzy and shitty...really bad split ends.
