A new political compass - where are you on it?
- A friend sent me this web site and I took the (very timely) political compass test and think it is terrific! It makes you stop and think where you really are on these issues without anyone but you and you and you knowing the results. Unless you blab to your friends, of course! You might even learn a few things (what a concept!).

All of the information on this site is worth reading BUT take the test FIRST.

Have fun!

4. I hate these things.

You cant answer these questions yes or no. You just cant.

I ended up almost exactly where Ghandi is, and Im not sure about Ghandi's views on porno and weed.

These compasses are useless.

14. They're not "yes and no" questions....
there are four possibilities.
As for Ghandi...he was extremely liberal and besides, are you going
to doubt ANY Hindu's views towards sex...?

12. Quite...I would say....
Edwards is more of a "right-winger" than holy Joe.
Kucinich and Sharpton are our candidates. ;)

17. I don't give this much gravitas
A lot of it is based on voting record, and often times people vote for compromise bills. Even Holy Joe would end up in Negatives in both ranges if you only take their core beliefs.

21. issues2000.org rates them on expressed beliefs, and you're correct...
...a lot of them do scooch over to the left on the issues2000 scale. Of course, this is during a primary, when they're trying to appeal to the base. They might wiggle back to the center a bit come the GE.

The site says they updated it a month ago, and I did notice a couple new questions pertaining to civil liberties and genetic patents that I don't recall from before.
