Have you seen the Buzzflash front page today? |
|
Like right now? The page is, as usual, full of links. Nothing new about that, but there is something...fascinating. There are a LOT of links on there that are scathing to the maladministration and its policies. Nothing new about that, either. What IS new is that a lot of them are from newspapers in the heartland. Yep, from papers like Chillacothe, OH and Opalousas, MISS. Go. Read. See.
Something IS moving out there, peeps. Something that the maladministration never, ever expected. People waking up pissed off.
The media might just still have a backbone. Just not the national media. No, the media that also gives the local wrestling and basketball scores and school closings.

8. If it was any more rural where I live... |

I would be living under a cowflop. That said, by, are people getting it out here. Lots and lots of people too. One way it manifested itself is in the last local elections, my town, a county seat in a county run by repukes and a town that was run by repukes, elected the full dem slate, including Mayor.
Much to the tantrum-inducing shock of the repukes, I might add.
We're on the cusp of something and it is bubbling up naturally from the grassroots. Don't look to the national media to notice it. Their at some fancy restaurant like The Palm or Le Cirque, eating on expense accounts and jerking each other off.

Bush is losing his own base. I subscribe to the Scappoose Spotlight. If you know where that is, you're in freeper country.
Even there, Bush is taking his licks.
