How much more of this can America take ? |
|
Why would terrorists talk in any way shape or form that could be intercepted about Flights, flight numbers, specific planes and times etc.
It stretches the imagination to the breaking point that they expect the public to believe this shit.
There is one reason and one reason only that true hardcore terrorists would exchange such info in any way that could be intercepted and that's to act as a decoy for their real plans.
How much more of this shit will America take?

1. Well, here is the thing: |
|
I believe that terrorists would communicate and there would be enough evidence to indicate which flights were targets. I don't, however, believe that the administration is grounding flights for any credible, legitimate reason.
Mainly, they are trying to create the illusion of keeping us safe.

3. The reason terrorists are successful many times is precisely |
|
because they do not do this. They do not communicate in a way that indicates anything unless you are part of the group only a member of the group would get the meaning and know the significance of the communication.
"I believe that terrorists would communicate and there would be enough evidence to indicate which flights were targets."

2. bin laden is blood thursty but he is not stupid. |
|
With the attitude of todays passengers I think a terrorist would be stupid to hijack another plane to turn it into a missle. I'm more concerned with biological, chemical and nukes. Remember saddams WMD's haven't been found. And if the world says he had em where are they? All this Kay krap could just be a smokescreen to CTA for letting them fall into the hands of terrorists.

8. According to Scott Ritter and others |
|
Saddam's WMD had been destroyed by the most intrusive UN inspections teams ever.
this fact is conveniently ignored by the American media, which may be why you are not aware of what Ritter, a US representative on the UN inspections team, tried to tell us all before the invasion of Iraq.
Kay is trying to absolve Bush of wasting untold taxpayer dollars, first with an illegal invasion of Iraq, second with a hunt for WMD.
More importantly, in the meantime more than 500 American soldiers and 8000 innocent Iraqi civilians have been killed because of Bush's lies.

4. Keep in mind, though, that one of the objectives of terrorism is to |
|
inspire fear in their targets and to force the target country to divert resources to a shadow fight. In other words, terrorists are indeed succeeding in their goals to cause fear in the populace and to force the administration to use vital resources to fight the shadows of terrorism.
The very fact that the Patriot Act has infringed on civil liberties in our "free" nation is in itself an accomplishment for terrorists.
Blood on the streets is not the only indicator of terrorist success--changing the way of life of Americans (for the worse) is a huge victory for terrorists.
So this ties to the question you ask in this way: If terrorists can send out enough information to cause US and British officials to take repressive actions against their own citizenry, then terrorists can claim the very fact that planes were grounded as a victory.
No, they might not divulge their "real" plans--unless their real plans were to see planes grounded and the US administration wrought with paranoia. All are victories in the type of assymetrical warfare known as terrorism.

5. Well I am sure you have got it. |

I said months ago the terrorist have won and Bush and Co, has helped them with this need for their own power.Terror is to win what you want through any means and Bush and his people have fit right in with it, and use that people live in fear. Does any one really think Bush is saving us from terrorist? Does anyone think you can really put up a wall to keep terrorist out, if they wish to come in? Face it you have to find the reason. It is starting to look like Bush and Co will take the country down before the terrorist do. We may not need to worry.

6. Yep .. .that's it. Half of it anyway. |

You send out specific "messages" ... you tell Joe Blow "We Strike Foofighters Flight 413 on Sunday!" You spread another tale by cell phone. Then you sit back and see which of your stories produce a reaction. When Foofighters Flight 413 is grounded, Joe Blow's name is put on a list ... sorry Joe.
So they get to watch us jump in fear while at the same time they gain valuable information on our intelligence gathering capabilities. Oldest trick in the book, and it works well.

7. Would that be an impeachable offense... |
|
if, say, you could show specifically that one of the code orange alerts had a political motive.
Not conjecture or timing circumstance. What if there was a meeting, a memo, a comment, a direction to Ridge.
There has to have been.
"Chatter" and "abundance of caution" wears thin over the political convenience, and the general disruption to society.
A good reporter, if there were one, might be able to sort that out.
