Citizen Police Academy? What is this? My town too

Anyone know the skinny and who is behind this? My town is implementing it, and it sounds REALLY fishy..

this looks really fishy ...looks like Patriot Act crap to me..

under the guise of Bullshit propoganda, implementations of a citizens TIPS program seems to be spreading all over the country
pretending to be a Citizens Police Academy i.e. turn in your neighbours if they misbehave...

It was a citizens patrol organization.. They quit talking about it as soon as the vigilante comparisons were made
