isn't the WH taking a huge risk keeping him under wraps for months for political purposes? People are already opening talking about the potential that this will happen (and I don't just mean on DU), so I wonder if they would get away with it. It would just be too damn obvious if he's "captured" right before the election or during the Dem convention (to steal our thunder), given this administration's growing reputation for mendacity.

A man who was as ill as bin laden was couldn't survive without his dialysis, and is at grave risk of infection from the elements, in very short order, if not treated properly in the right conditions.

8. Here's the thing

This is an administration built on strange "coincidences".

The biggest and most glaring one? You get a president who is not popularly elected, who appoints members of an organization with imperalistic goals to high positions. They have desires to invade Iraq and the middle east that go back to 1998. They have a closed door "energy conference" with an anonymous group over the summer, and they recieve numerous specific terrorism warnings about planes hitting the WTC.
Just as Bush's approval ratings drop, just as they have the groudwork laid out for an invasion of Afganistan, just as they start coming under fire for the recession they helped kickstart by passing tax cuts for the rich and their inflated defense spending; the biggest terrorist attack in American history happens. It saves the day for the administration. Everything they have done which was at one time questionable or even appauling is now suddenly justified.

There are no coincidences with this group of psychotic fuckheads. They are assholes, they don't give a shit about American lives, they know the public is too stupid to question them, and they are manipulating everything from behind the scenes while laughing their asses off at how stupid the public is.
