A) It's a Democratic lie from the liberal media! We all know Saddam Hussein did it, just like he was responsible for 9/11!!!! But with more misspellings. Also some speculations that the home-grown terrorist is really Jewish and/or had sex with black people.

B) Analysis of why the home-grown terrorist was disenchanted with America, which will be much more in depth than any analysis of why Middle Eastern Arabs hate America. Followed by a word from our sponsors. Up next: Did Janet Jackson have breast enhancement surgery?

C) Talk about the need to increase surveillance of domestic terrorist groups. In reality they will open more investigations of anti-war and anti-free-trade organizations.

and his attack dogs. Bush has been taking some heat and what better way than to deflect attention of his poor performance than to start a "ricin" scare. The media will be reporting on the ricin terrorist rather than Bush and his inept administration.

...altogether. Remember that kid that was going around putting bombs in peoples' mailboxes in an attempt to reproduce a huge smiley face when investigators mapped out the location of each attack? Whatever happened to that guy? The last I saw of him was a photo soon after they captured him. Both he AND the law enforcement officer with him were SMILING. What the hell did this guy have to smile about, and what was it about him that amused the officer?

I think that after the Oklahoma Federal Building Bombing, any reasonable person in America today would consider a disgruntled, disillusioned white male.

I also believe that it could be someone in the GOP who cooked up this sympathy scheme in a last ditch effort to lull the sheople back into their stupor.

21. This was the first thing that popped into my head, too, for a couple

of reasons.

First, it was an "attack" on a Republican (Frist), and the poison was in a form that is not really lethal unless you are stupid enough to EAT or SNUFF UP strange white powder that fell all over your mailroom floor. . .

Second, it is still a poison, gets the breathless CNN/NBC/Fox headlines, and thusly gets everyone all het up about "terraism" again.

So, the objectives are met: Repubs look like innocent victims (like the Dems with the anthrax) WITHOUT the true danger of handling anthrax; logistics of using ricin to scare everyone is easy compared to scaring everyone with anthrax; and the freebie of causing everyone to think about terrorism again.

We all saw what happened with the Olympic Park bombing and the Oklahoma City bombing.

I agree that we have a lot more to fear from domestic terrorists. I might even be persuaded to believe that this ricin event is a reaction to some of the Bush plans for legalizing some immigrants, or maybe to something else that's happened of late.

I thought the FBI was too eager to pin that one on an "angry white man" to be perfectly honest. Those incidents took place at a time when Anti-Arab sentiment was running particularly high.
