Is this the bushco strategy - in the primary/election AND all the time?
---Keep us constantly confused, not knowing what claim, report, action, story to investigate and then counter first.

Eventually individuals just get 'burned out' trying to keep up - from arsenic in water to govt 'scientists' to do peer reviews to 'imminent danger' to 'it's all the CIA's fault.'

And now the reports as to who is leading in what state - every hour a new report.

With the end result -

...'Let's just give up and not fight any more and let them have it if they want it so bad. I need to feed my kids, find a job, figure out what to do with my 80-year-old mother, get some money to pay for prescriptions, etc, etc.'

1. someone once said, i relation to what you're saying,
and it works, is this: take whatever the mediawhores WANT you to think, either turn it right around or simply note what lie they're pushing, and something like truth can be seen. Unfortunately, you cannot apply this trick only to things you want...everything must fall into the bag in order for you to achieve freedom from constant harassment/worry etc. For example (get this from 'up from conservativism' by conservative scholar Michael Lind) there are 3 hoaxes that 'conservatives' push
1) excessive taxation have burdened the american economy
2) the US public education system is terrible on a world class scale
3) welfare has created or helped create a massive increase in illegitimate births in the US black population...
these 3 items are basic to republicanism and 'conventional' wisdom. all are big lies, huge and vicious lies, and this can and has been proven repeatedly.
Our enemy is ignorance, and laffing at the bullshitters (how did USA put men on moon if public schools so bad?) is 1st step in turning the tables on them. The Lind book, and others by Kevin Phillips (one time republican hero intellect) plus 'strange justice' by Mayer and Abramson (where clarence thomas famously says he 'isn't going to retire from supreme court early cause it'll take '43 years,' his age at confirmation, to 'get even' with America! plus david brock's 'blinded by the right' etc...lots of etcetera!
the bush criminals, and their mediaboys, are deperately trying to confound and confuse us, so take heart by refusing to be!
:-)
