Wow, it sure is hard teaching people what that word means in the context of Campaign 2004! Here are some clues:
1. The ability to get elected. 2. Superficial; especially when enclosed in quotations - "electability."
Dissing a candidate because the corporate media brand him electable doesn't mean the disser prefers a candidate who's UNelectable. Rather, people who are cringing at the word "electability" prefer a candidate who will win AND do something positive after getting elected.

And I suppose the definition of "elected" is "what happened to someone who is has electability"
