If GWB loses in November, will they run Jebbie in 2008? |
|
I know this is slightly off the present subjects, but I got to wondering about this while out walking this afternoon.
I would say no, because if bush loses, the BFEE are then big two-time losers. The last thing the RNC (who want only to WIN) would do, would be to run yet another bush in 2008. I would think that Senator Frist would immediately become their front runner in such a case.
Anyone have the opposite take?? A 2008 run for Jeb has been conventional DU wisdom for a time now.

two consecutive one-term Bush's would pretty much put an end to Jeb's aspirations.

3. So, this election means as much to Jeb, as it does to GWB. |
|

The Bush family feels entitled to that office, and the plan now is to run Jebbie after Georgie's two terms.

5. If you really want to know |
|
If Kerry wins, most likely
If Edwards wins, most likely
If Sharpton wins, yes
If Kucinich wins, doubtful. Politics wiil not be very good for Repulicans if Kucinich wins.
If Clark wins, most likely not. Freinds at the DOD will make sure Jeb is never heard from again.
If Dean wins, no. The man will be in jail.

6. Is George P. old enough to run yet? |
|
If not, then they may run Neil or Nicolle. (if they're out of jail by then)

7. That Assumed that Bush* "Wins" in November |
|
The imperial succesion would move to Jeb in 2008, unless Dubya declares himself Resident-for-Life before then.
If he loses, and actually leaves office in January (Two VERY BIG If's), then no way.
