Tim Russert will ask * the following questions: |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-05-04 01:08 PM by SoCalDem
I am sure that most of us will call or e-mail him with suggestions, but I am pretty sure that he has already received "the questions"..
We all know what questions he SHOULD ask.. but we also know that he won't....
I am bookmarking this so we can all see how close we came to predicting:)
1.. Mr President, there's a lot of loose talk about your military service. I know how hurtful this must be to you, since you are waging a war on terror, and have won two wars in two years.Even though this was covered in 2000, people just won't let it go. Could you put to rest, once and for all, the issue of your service?
add your own questions that you "think" he will ask..

2. My predicted question: |
|
Mr. President, outside of 47% of the delusional American people, why does the entire world unite in their hatred of you?

And a tough one: Which is cuter? A basket full of puppies or a basket full of kittens?

6. I don't think Tim will ask |
|
this question, because bush* will have to answer, as he did in 2000, that he doesn't remember because that was a long time ago. That answer won't be acceptable this time.
I think Tim will ask him if he thinks he was misled by the Intelligence Agencies as to WMD's.

13. The "I don't remember" |
|
response is already being reworded to "To expect the White House to keep military records for 26 years is absurd"......Scotty came up with that one yesterday...my first response was ...Ummm...huh? (**scratching head**)

Scotty really said that??? Unbelievable! Besides, the White House shouldn't have to keep the records. Those are George W. Bush's* personal records, aren't they? I've read posts from folks here on the board saying they have their grandparent's records.

|
The Civil War records do not exist, nor do the WWI and WWII, or ANY records earlier than 1979..

12. A couple of possibilites:... |
|
MR. President,
1. Where is Saddam and what about the 'trial'?
2. Where are the WMD's?
3. Where is Osama?
4. How can you possibly believe you can balance the budget?
5. Why does every nation despise us?
Here are probables:
Mr. President,
1. What is your favorite color, pink or mauve?
2. Do you think tires should remain round?
3. Boxers or Briefs?
4. What are you going to do after you lose in '04?
It should be interesting. Without a tele-prompter bush is dead meat, look for an earpiece....he cannot answer anything without being prompted.

20. Imperial Scribe Timmy will have already had the questions vetted |
|
and the Emperor will recite scripted answers, perhaps with the aide of an off-camera teleprompter or an earpiece connected to Uncle Karl, who will give the answers.
Does anyone really think that Imperial Scribe Timmy would say ANYTHING to expose the work of His Masters? That he would be outraged at this affront tohis "journalistic integrity".
A Media Whore and Imperial Pravda Scribe like Timmy HAS no ethics, but the almighty dollar and whatever his Bushevik pals tell him when they are sipping cocktails at posh parties together.
From Walter Cronkite to Timmy Russert (who would be just as at home reporting in Soviet Russia or Commie China) it is no wonder that the Imperial Amerikan Press is becoming a huge joke to the world and to an ever-growing numbers of Americans. How the mighty have fallen to become laughingstocks and Imperial Bootlickers like Tim Russert!

22. "Why can't those Democrats just accept that God has appointed you?" |
|
I'll never forget the last time I watched his show, which was around Christmas of 2001. He asked Laura, Guliani and a Catholic Bishop if God had meant Bush to be president on Sept. 11. Guliani and the Bishop said, yes, it was God's will! Tim looked like he agreed wholeheartedly. Only Laura had the sense to say no, which spoke well for her, I think.
I never watch that show because who wants to watch propaganda on a nice Sunday morning? If the mainstream press lets the Bush admimistration get away with having no accountability, they should be boycotted by all decent people that believe in democracy.

24. What Should - What Probably Will |
|
What Russert SHOULD ask:
FDR, during a depression and fighting a war, asked for sacrifice from all Americans by raising taxes. You say we're fight a war on terra', but our deficits threaten to spiral out of control. Will you ever be willing to ask for the same kind of sacrifice that Pres. Roosevelt asked for and propose raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans so that our fiscal house can get back in order?
In April 1972, you didn't take your required Texas Air National Guard physical examination, usually give by a Guard doctor. Why didn't you take that physical and why didn't you ever again in your time with the Guard get that physical taken, thereby grounding you from flying for the rest of your tour of duty? At the same time you were supposed to get that physical, a Mr. James R. Bath was also supposed to take his, but didn't show up either. Do you know James R. Bath? What has been your relationship with him?
Were you ever shown any photographic intelligence of actual, identifiable weapons of mass destruction of any kind, before you ordered the attack on Iraq?
What Tim probably WILL ask:
I've been working in this town for decades now, you were here now and then when your dad was president and you live here part of the time, when you're not on the ranch. What do you think of the weather in Washington?
I have met more US Senators in my job as moderator of Meet the Press than almost anyone alive. I've had John McCain on this show almost every other Sunday. Who is your favorite Senator?
What will you give Laura for Valentine's Day? Will you shop for that gift here in Washington?
