11. If I take out the 'female' bias
Clinton drops 2 5th place, Kennedy becomes 100%. I noticed Boxer is not included on this list (it says 'nearly half' Democratic senators listed) cuz I agree w/ her more than Feinstein who was 9th.

23. Yup, Inouye and Corzine
Edited on Thu Feb-05-04 07:52 PM by KamaAina
followed by Kennedy, Rodham Clinton, and (!) Hollings.

Let me take a moment to state that, unlike Sen. Inouye, I am unalterably opposed to the ADA Notification Act, which would weaken the Americans with Disabilities Act by adding another onerous hurdle for would-be complainants: they would have to file a notification of an access violation before filing suit, giving the violator another (I believe) sixty days to drag his/her feet. :puke:

Note that, despite all evidence to the contrary, Inouye has stated that he does not consider himself to be a person with a disability. Go figure.

Edit: Clarification on ADA Notification Act

I just wish I lived near some of those more Liberal Senators instead of the MO/KS area.

39. Ted Kennedy@100%, Kerry@69% Lieberman@67% hmmmm. ouch.
Kerry didn't match up very well with my views. The ACLU only gives him a 47% approval rating.

Confirms to me that Kerry is a very mixed bag on lots of my issues:
civil rights, biotech, environment, trade.

Atleast he ain't a hardcore neocon, just a corporateer friendly centrist.
