George W. Bush has done something that no other President... |
|
has been able to do since 1945.
He has made the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor look honorable compared to what he has done in regards to Iraq.
At least the Japanese attacked a somewhat formidable military force and awoke an industrial sleeping giant.
Bush attacked a largely defenseless, economically sanctioned and deprived country that relied upon its dictator to survive. All based on false, exagerated, inflated and contrived "evidence" to justify the take-over of the second largest known area of oil reserves in the world disguised as a mission to prevent a WMD strike on the US.
The attack on Pearl Harbor was honorable compared to this.

1. I'm afraid I have to agree with you....except you left one thing out |
|
George W. Bush is a good, Christian man, so how can it be wrong?....I'm just being sarcastic....but that's how he and his Christian zealot buddies see it....

3. And there stems a problem |

fundies admission of wrongheadedness is legendarily pigheaded. They will back the killer no matter what, after all, this killer is a good Christian man.

2. Neither act is honorable in any way. |
|
What the Japanese did wasn't cowardly but it sure wasn't honorable either.

Ukraine, East Europe (Reinhard Gehlen & thousands of former german SS-members hired by the USA) Vietnam Cuba Guatemala Nicaragua Panama Kosovo
Since 1950, the USA has waged at least 300 wars in different parts of the globe. Was there a single country that wasn't offended, because it was defenseless?
In fact, the last time an American president sought and obtained congressional approval for a war was in 1941, after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor!
Was it Bush, who invented Wilson's "Idealism"? Hello from Germany, Dirk

6. More Iraqi civilians killed than military |
|
I saw on the news this evening that 9000 Iraqi civilians were killed compared with 6000 military. I thought all our "smart" bombs were meant to avoid civilian casualties.
