Bill Clinton as a talk show host |
|
About 6 months after he left office, there was talk of Bill Clinton becoming a talk show host.
Instead, he gave private speeches.
Should we try to revive the Bill-Clinton talk-show concept?

2. Would he get to have a kick ass band |
|
and would he be allowed to flog the sax?
I say that because I think with regular practice, he could be really good.

What is more important is the opportunity for a charismatic man to argue the Democratic side and get such good rating that they don't cancel the show.
Imagine if Clinton were on at 3:00 PM every day, before Oprah.
That would shift the balance.

7. *shrug* Ollie North pulled it off |
|
Ollie's truly 10000X the scumbag Clinton's critics made Clinton out to be, so I don't think he'd suffer too much... err... blowback...
I suspect rightwingers would just tune out, rather than actively seek to disrupt his show.
I'd rather see Clinton run for mayor of NYC, though. That's one Democratic city with more than its share of republican mayors.

Clinton doesn't even live in NYC. If he wants to run again, why not governor of New York?
Is Bill Clinton's Congressman a Republican or Democrat?

9. Really? I thought his office was in Harlem |
|
I suppose it would make sense that he'd live upstate, tho. It would be a shame for Bill Clinton NOT to do something for NY state, perhaps heading up the Democratic party organization there. He's got far too much talent to waste on golf and memoirs.
