With Bush having him head up the investigation, I think now is a good time to bring up all of that Karl Rove push polling. Remind him about all of those nasty rumors that we're spread about him in South Carolina.

1. Yes but he has already been campaigning for the shrub
so he has already sold his sole.

3. I hope so.
I find it very curious that bush has selected McCain for this, and I think the jury is still out as to whether he will lead a whitewash or not.

4. No good
Apparently McCain likes it when his own party spreads viscious lies about him and questions his patriotism.

If he wants to bend over for Bush, that's his problem.

Maybe he just likes the abuse

5. This is Rove's move; they don't want McCain in the WH.
Either as a replacement for Cheney if he resigns, or as a late nomination challenger if Shrub gets as bloodied by scandal as now seems more possible.

This puts him on the shelf, neutering aWol's most significant potential R opponent.

6. Someone should remind him
It would be good for us all if there were a few Republicans left standing untainted by the slime of Bushco. Someday I'd like to be able to actually respect the opposition again.

Just call me a cockeyed optimist.
