What does anyone know about Vote.com?
I sent an e-mail inquiry about possible advertising with them. I got a response, but no rates. So I called...and was told if I was looking for Dick Morris, dial...

Dick Morris? The site claims to be "neither liberal or conservative." Anyone know anything more substantive? Obviously, I can't really rely on their own on-site hype. Is this a good place to hustle Bush hate-ware?

(Mods..I put this in GD because of the Dick Morris angle...I'm looking for political info about the site, too. Move it, though, if you feel it is in the wrong place.)

They will spam you, manipulate data and it's right wing. I'm sure the info was used against Gore in 2000, as that was when they started the site. It appears to serve a valuable purpose for the right wing.

2. It's a Right-Wing Joke !

It's a right-wing freeper zone, all the votes come out 90/10 or 95/5 in the
republicans favor. That's because the votes there are almost all made by republicans.

I was a member there a while back, I noticed all the votes come out in the republicans
favor by huge margins. But they don't give the ratio of republicans to democrats who
vote in the polls.

I stopped going there a long time ago, it's just a bunch of freepers voting in polls.

I would not buy advertising there unless you have a republican website.

4. They're already probably trying to hack my site!

LOL! They know the site I was calling about. They outta love it!

Thanks for the help, guys. It is as I feared. So, what would be a GOOD web site to reach lots of anti-Bushies (besides DU, which doesn't take advertising)?

on edit: I just left a message on their voice mail to please not bother returning my other call, as they obviously are not the bi-partisan bastion they claim to be. "I'll be spending my money elsewhere. Thank you."

3. They lie.
They're heavily conservative, and I've read several threads on DU where, in the current poll, the progressive answer was rejected. IE: there was an "error" when you tried to vote the progressive answer.
The site's unreliable, and advertising with them will be a waste of time.

5. I think Randy Tate, ex executive director,
of Pat Robertson's Christian Coalition was involved with this. Tate is an ex-congressman from Washington State. Very right wing.

6. Not sure what you are looking for
but my site www.votervirgin.com is guaranteed to make you smile.

It is 100% non-partisan and issue free in an attempt to promote democracy and trust the education of the masses to all the fine people doing that component. Groups such as New Voters Project are using VoterVirgin to engage non voters and create dialogue with a smile. Supporters are encouraged to gift their alma maters with our RAK (Registration Assistance Kit) and Spread The Love (see Get Involved) en masse.

I would love to know whatyou think.

Peace,
Teresa
