Is "misuse" of intel to wage an unprovked war treason or war crime? |
|
We are letting the administration and media frame the issue once again. Any investigation MUST include the "use" or "misuse" of intel as well as the quality of the intel. If you misues even excellent intel you can get the same results that we are faced with today. Chaos and unnecessary loss of lives and resources.

it sure as hell should be. Thousands of people are dead because of chimpy's lies. He may think that's okay, but the civilized world sure shouldn't. Those people were murdered by chimpy and the creeps from PNAC.

3. I am so unbelievably pissed off about this |
|
that nobody is calling BUsh on this stupid fucking "independent panel" bullshit.
See my post above regarding Hitler appointing a panel to investigate dead jews.
I am fucking LIVID. It's time we shut this country down and demand that Bush be removed from office NOW.

6. I'm just appalled beyond belief that they're letting Bush do this |
|
There should be SUCH outrage and disgust and disbelief that Bush would even TRY to do this "appoint a panel" bullshit when he's so OBVIOUSLY guilty of lying to congress, lying to America, and taking the country to WAR for fabricated reasons.
I didn't think I could be more angry than, well, I used to be, but I am.

7. Of course it is -- Impeach the bastards! |
|
Declaring war for bogus reasons, using bogus intelligence? Lying to the American people? Lying to Congress? Dereliction of duty? Failure to investigate 9/11? Incompetence? Mentally, physically, and otherwise ... Teason (Plame affair)?
I mean, let's get real here: If lying about a blue dress got Clinton impeached, then Shrub should have been toast a year ago.

8. I would have thought allowing 9/11 to happen would have been impeachable |
|
But I guess not.
But this WMD intel issue can easily be proven. And it still won't even harm Bush.
Gee, I wonder why the panel won't report its findings until March 2005.... Maybe because it won't matter anymore??
Christ, this country is so fucking stupid.
Here's what I would like the panel to do:
Go through all the available prewar intelligence, and catalogue it. Then, I would like to see them come back with a report saying something like:
Well, we have found and registered 1500 documents detailing WMD programs and evidence of WMD in Iraq, all supporting the administrations prewar claims. However, we have also found these documents proving that there are no WMD in Iraq. They outnumber reports of WMD by a ratio of 3/1. In addition, for over half of the reports detailing the existance of WMD, we have found that there are five reports disproving such claims...
Mainly, I want the comittee to prove that, although there was intelligence that showed evidence of WMD, it is painfully obvious that the administration carefully selected which documents it would use to make its case for war and to create the irrefutable claim that there are WMD.
And, I think this comittee should definately look into Cheney's Summer 2001 energy meetings, where contracts were likely promised...
