the stock market is betting on middle-America's job misery |
|
ugh.
I just turned on PBS and heard someone talking about jobs.
Apparently, temp job company stocks are swelling like a beached whale, in anticipation that Americans will be swimming in a sea of joblesness and will be so desperate that they will take the jobs this temp companies will fill..just think of it as intra-outsourcing.
But on the bad side...
if the job market continues to be so crappy, even TEMP AGENCIES will be hurt (and more people will then have an even harder time finding a job...even if it's a temp one???
surely I've misunderstood this and the class war has not devolved to this level of exploitation.

2. The stock market surged today because the job creation |
|
picture wasn't as strong as expected which means that the Fed is less likely to raise interest rates.
Less jobs makes Wall Street happy. That says it all.

3. Less jobs means wage pressure downward. |
|
The stock market LOVES that.
