Is Dennis Miller so bad that it's pitiable?
His jokes aren't funny and they expose a real ignorance. He wants to use the hate radio talking points but since he has at least one person on the panel who can inject reality it makes him look even more like an idiot. Someone should have let him know that the talking points only work under two circumstances, when you can shout your opponent down or when there is no alternative view heard and you get to explain what the other side would say.

1. No pity for Dennis Miller!
Don't even care if he completely bombs because it's just as likely he'll be an f***ing' success - look at the R/W losers who are!

3. Time to restore an apropos Valspeak term:
Vomitrocious. Really, he is intolerable; I can tolerate O'Rielly more easily.

Can't think for himself because he's so full of himself there is no room left for brain cells.

4. Won't watch him...........
he's ALWAYS come across as a pseudo intellectual, condescending, pompous ass to me. That was even in his supposedly 'funny' period before he started worshiping the Dark Lords of Capitalism.

5. I Will Not Watch Him - And I Let Advertisers Know
He will be gone soon enough when it becomes known that not only does he cause people like me to switch channels. The last time I saw him he badmouthed Jimmy Carter. I shot out a nasty-gram to HBO and Direct TV and told they either he was going to go or I was. He cost's them money, I pay them money. The point was not lost on them.

8. CNBC/GE will subsidize his show...
CNBC/GE will subsidize his show on the air in order to keep his conservative message on the air. They have deep pockets, so it won't matter to them if his show tanks and can't attract sponsors. All that matters to GE is Miller's all important "message." He is the conservative's newest darling because he was once a liberal who has seen the "light."

Tell everybody youknow that his show is nothing more than a cleverly designed infomercial that is meant to "sell" conservative talking points.

10. I think Dennis Miller IS the joke
With the far right, their slate of comedic performers really hits the bottom of the barrel. Ann Cow-lter is probably the funniest comedienne on the right, and she's not supposed to be all that funny!

11. Miller is aiming at a niche market that doesn't exist
He wants to regurgitate all the Republican talk-radio talking points, while at the same time making his trademarked obscure analogies that absolutely no one in that audience can appreciate or understand. Plus, as you mention, he tries to try to come off as semi-intellectual and hip while having to spew obvious nonsense.

Miller's chimpanzee sidekick is the only one that is entertained or intrigued by this, but then he finds entertainment and intrigue in sniffing his own feces.

By the way, I don't watch Denny's show. (I don't even have cable in my house.) And I beg of you all not to watch it either, even out of schadenfreude.

12. Still never seen it
But if it's as bad as everyone is saying, maybe they should resurrect THE SAVAGE WEINER! to team him up with. A condescending, smarmy asshole who swallowed a thesaurus, teamed with a combatitive, smarmy asshole who swallowed one too many doses of the herbs he used to push. Advertise the show as an alternative to ipecac.

13. Here's Some Satire
Here's a bit of satire from columnist Bill White. These are some of his predictions for the next year:

May - Cheney/Scalia hot tub parties raise eyebrows.

June - Determined to preserve the sanctity of marriage against the scourge of civil unions in this election year, President Bush declares war on Vermont.

July - Montpelier falls.

October - U.S. troops capture Howard Dean in spider hole outside Rutland.

December - NFL announces that Pat Boone will headline the 2005 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

14. Dennis Milter has never been funny
When he did the news on Saturday Night Live, he didn't suck as bad as everyone else did, and by comparison he seemed like, well, that he didn't suck that bad.

Dennis Millter is now basically a porn star. He fellates Republicans on video for money. Perhaps more like a circus geek - the way he swallows GOP nonsense - most people would gag and vomit. He doesn't. He's pretty freaky alright.

15. He's as funny as....
...a metasticizing cancer. They ought to call it the corporatist blow job show. He does his own laugh tracks for his pathetic ads. He is a deeply cynical man who is taking advantage of his employers who are dumber than he is. I detest him as a person with no integrity.

The funniest thing is listening to the reporters on CNBC dutifully reporting they are going to watch "the whole show" tonight, publicly displaying their toadyism on cue. It's like volunteering for a barium enema.

16. Dennis Miller....
I watched enough to know that he will flop.
He makes very poor eye contact with the camera
so that he presents more like an uncomfortable
guest than a host. His responses are hesitant
and without confidence and he looks and acts
lost. He has no charisma, and his criticisms
take the whining, complaining mode that is
hard to listen to for long.

He will be gone soon....he doesn't even make
a good repug.

17. We tried to watch him last night.
We turned him off after five minutes.
He just isn't funny anymore now that he is owned by BushCo.

I thought he didn't belong on CNBC, but on Fox instead.
