Will "the Gipper" affect the November election?

I notice that on his 93rd birthday, the patron saint of the right wing is not doing well. Will he pass on late in October, thus bring pathos to the * campaign. Can't you hear "one more time for 'the Gipper?'"

not on pro-Reagan nostalgia. This Bush has never showed any respect for the Reagans. He didn't go to Reagan's older daughter's funeral nor did he send a representative.

Expect the GOP and RW media to invoke his name, image and whatever fiction they want to attach to those -- and it will be repeated repeated repeated repeated repeated ad nauseum.

Now, given this scenario, can * actually be successful in clinging to the Gipper's ghostly coattails? That's a tough one to answer.
