Just saw a clip of Moron's interview with Russert.
Even with Russert basically giving him a free pass Dim Son managed to sound like a psychopathic mental deficient. I actually think I'll watch the whole hour tomorrow just for grins. But I won't eat my breakfast until after he spews, just to be safe.

1. That last sentence is hilarious.
I don't have a TV, so I can't see it, but I would if I could. Bush is so transparent when he's speaking. Mark Crispin Miller's _Bush_Dyslexicon_ is a great scholarly work on this. It really opened my eyes.

4. Yes, I love that book.
Periodically on GD people post the latest bushisms. Sometimes he is so incoherent its unbelievable. Kind of like someone just opening his mouth and letting whatever happens to be sitting on his tongue slide out in any old order! Jeez, I cannot believe how stupid that &^%$#@* is.

2. I *LOVE* listening to Bush talk....
when it's totally without notes. He comes off as sounding like an idiot -- which he is -- I'm interested in knowing if this will hurt or help him in the long run.

But yeah the parts I saw Russert basically sounded like he was talking to a retard. He was talking slow and softly. (No offence to retarded people of course, I just can't think of any other way to describe him. His IQ rises just above that of a rock.)

16. The "Bushisms" are who the man is...
I *LOVE* listening to Bush talk.... when it's totally without notes.

I don't think that much of anything Bush says in public is done without a script. The few times he does speak for himself are the times we get those "Bushisms." Historians tell us that Ronald Reagan never spoke without a script. As an actor, it was easier for him to do that, and as a person with serious limitations he needed to do that.

There are people who have a normal intelligence but who cannot express themselves well verbally. When teachers work with children with learning disabilities, they help those children to work around their disabilities. When Bush was growing up, that kind of help wasn't available because we didn't know as much about minimal brain dysfunction or different kinds of intelligences. Fact is, many people who had some learning disability did wind up drinking a lot or acting out in one way or another out of frustration.

Nonetheless, the man is now an adult, and judging by the choices he has made during his pResidency it's clear that if he does have a learning problem it is not Bush's only problem. Not all people with learning disabilities have normal intelligence. Some of them are also "slow," and some of them are not moral people.

Bush is a danger to the nation and must be taken out of a position where his actions can harm all of us.

6. Today, and I'm sure it was edited ad infinitum.
Problem is you can't edit everything, and I don't think even Russert would go along with Rove sitting next to * whispering the correct answers in his ear.

7. I watched a clip on NBC news tonight
The interviewer looked fat and scared and Bush looked like a kid trying to talk his mother out of spanking him. He did not look macho at all. I think the white male voters will be turned off because they liked him when he was tough. We Democrats will be OK if we just take back some of the white males.

8. can't wait to see it, chimp is falling apart
It's hillarious to see him bumbling about like a drunk turkey.

I hope this interview brings him down another 2 or 3 approval points.

12. Would Jesus use the words Bush uses.

Next time you see them, ask them why such a Christian man cusses and swears like a drunken sailor, frequently using ...gasp...shock.... horror...the "f" word.

Though it wasn't publicized at the time, Prime Minister Paul Martin got a sense of that sanctimony when he met with Mr. Bush in early January in Mexico. Mr. Bush let the Prime Minister know that he believed himself to be on the side of God and tending to God's mission.

The Canadian side, while aware of the President's penchant for religiosity, had been expecting to talk more about softwood lumber than the Ten Commandments. The Canadians didn't expect the morality play. Nor did they expect that, almost in the same breath, Mr. Bush would be filling the air with the f-word and other saucy expletives of the type that would surely leave the Lord perturbed. Nor did they anticipate a pointed attack on French President "Jack Cheerack," as Mr. Bush called him, for his views on the Middle East.

The Globe and Mail is a major Canadian Daily newspaper geared to Canadian business and industry. It's in a way like the Canadian equivalent of the Wall Street Journal. They would not be making this stuff up to sell newspapers. For one thing they are very pro-business and right now the Canadian business establishment is doing it's best to cozy up to Dubya to get favorable trade deals and resolve outstanding trade issues. The Globe and Mail would not be likely to print an anti-Bush story unless it had darn good sources to back up the story and it felt the story itself was extraordinarily newsworthy.

17. Bush on botox?
Notice how the wrinkles come and go? Is that why they had to have it taped? Would love to see comparison pictures on the Drudge report. LOL

18. He has one continuous line on his forehead, a strange wrinkle.
can that be a result of botox? or bad makeup application?
