1. If you liked him, you still like him. |
|
If you didn't, you still don't. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think this will change the polls much.

Not even neocons believe he's a fantastic speaker. It's either sarcasm or an ill-conceived attempt at making us angry.

4. Well. I suppose the choice I gave was pretty sarcastic. |
|
Personally, I don't mind. I think this morning's MTP was a watershed in the campaign. We'll see how the presstitutes spin it, but it would be pretty tough to defend it as 'excellent.'

why is G.W. doing the tearing-thing, the crying thing right off the bat with the first question; he started to well-up when he spoke of shadowy people with shadowy connections (was he referring to his father?? skull and bones ?? carlyle group???)

My impressions at the half:
President Bush rambled quite a bit. His responses weren't sharp and weren't "new".
When asked if the loss of American lives/injuries were worth it in light of us not finding WMD - the president did terribly in his response and I think that will stand out for many people watching. There was no passion in his answer. He seemed as though he'd never even given much thought to the sacrifice of these men/women and their families. His answer was rambling...and without conviction. He talked more about himself and his responsibility than he did about the troops.
He not only does not know how to pronounce NUKE-U-LAR but he does not know how to pronounce PEN-IN-SHU-LA.

8. Actually, I give him some credit on his grammar. |
|
He tended not to end sentences with prepositions, and he used 'such as' instead of 'like.' Other than that, it was a complete meltdown.

during this one hour interview, that will be used has evidence against him. A couple of these moments are already topics of discussion in GD. Just wait till John Stewart gets the video and starts using bits of it. I can't wait.

11. I was watching George Stephanopolous in FTN, and his panels |
|
opinion about Bush*'s speech was that it was great, that he is sticking to his guns, that he will be able to use his money... etc. etc. in a word, we will get him for four more years.
