I Thought Bush Did Well
I hate to say it, I would far and away have prefered to see the dud break down in tears, but that did not happen.

I think he held together under questions that were just one level above fluff. He may have been prompted (I didn't see an ear piece) but if not he was certainly prepared by experts at least well enough. I doubt very very seriously that his performance lost him a single vote and in fact may have taken some folks who were abandoning him and brought them back to him.

Now, don't get me wrong. That is an assessment I take no pleasure in making, but its how it looked to me.

Thom

But that's just me. While I agree tat many Repukes are indeed morons I think many with an IQ above room temp. wanted to hang themselves.

Again, it depends on your ability to follow a train of thought so yes there will be many who can't smell poop when they are covered with it.

9. I definitely disagree. Matter of fact it's thrilling how evil, cold and
ruthless he appeared. Oh, I forgot totally incompetent. Can't wait for the post-MTP * popularity polls to come out. :D

10. Disagree totally.
One thing that influences me, is that I watch a lot of other nation's presidents in similar situations - Canada, GB, France, Italy - they are all completely composed, articulate, informed, and they never say things like, "I don't know what all the assumptions are in that GAO report . . . " Duh. You'd better know what the assumptions are, you dingbat.

We have the absolute WORST leader in the entire world.

12. Don't forget that this was NOT live, but taped and edited. I
still think he came across as a one dimesional bufoon. Why did he keep saying the other countries had the same intelligee. With the exception of the UK whose chart shows that guestimated oil supply peaks after 2010 and plummets right off the fucking charts, the other major countries voted to give the UN more time to find the elusive wmds.

Nope, the guy is a moron and all the editing in the world won't change that.

BTW, was he smirking when explaining to the parents about their dead children. What the hell?
