Was George lying then or is Laura lying now?
George Bush famously told journalists that he doesn't read newspapers. Now, on Face the Nation Bob Schiefer tells us that Laura assures us that isn't true. That they make a ritual of reading the paper in the morning. So which is it? Was Bush lying then or is the other Bush lying now?

3. weird science
Actually, a breakthrough in quantum physics now allows the entire bush family to lie at the same time while taking opposite sides on any issue.

Except when their lips aren't moving (then they're thinking up new lies).

5. They are both quite adept at deceiving
Remember Laura's intimate love poem that Bush* supposedly wrote her while she was in France. The one where the author of the poem referred to her as "That Lump in the Bed". Well turns out Bush* didn't write any poem as Laura admitted on National TV. I wonder who it is that considers her "That Lump in the Bed" if it isn't Bush*.

9. ... it is known around town (DC)
.... that he is dyslexic .... he has his speeches printed in a special font (also in large type) which helps ease the problem; helps him read ....

.... I don't think he is ABLE to read the newspapers even if he wanted to ....

10. They could both be right....
Laura could read the arts and entertainment section each morning while George reads the funnies. Technically, it would still be reading the paper, but not really reading the useful parts.
