wow reading his bumbling nonsense is more excruciating than listening to him
and they edited out all the umm's, uggh's and most of the well's
just for fun, copy and paste the text into your favorite word processor, edit out Russert.
then run Grammar Check
if you have one of those word processors that tells you the education level of the text, it will be curious. I am going to do this tomorrow at work
heh heh
I so so so so want to see Rhode Scholar Wesley Clark debate this moron

7. I've Done That Before... |
|
not this time... but on earlier "freeflowing" (unscripted) dialog of his.
Other then the obvious grammatical errors (that many people make when speaking informally)... what struck me was the fact that he had the vocabulary of a SEVENTH GRADER!

6. "that is unique, by the way, to have provided what's called the PDB..." |
|
He smirks as he uses the acronym "PDB". It's as though he's proud of himself for knowing the acronym of Presidential Daily Brief and that he's telling you something that you might not already know.
He's being passive aggressive with obvious pride in the use of some trivial bit of jargon that he believes makes him sound informed and somehow more intelligent than he actually is.
He wants to be perceived as being in-the-loop and in touch with what's going in around him.
Even though he cannot demonstrate that he actually grasps the complex concepts that surround foreign policy and responsible domestic policy... he's totally incurious and ill-informed... he want to demonstrate that he's picked up a phrase or two.
He reminds me of Barney Fife trying to impress Juanita (from the diner) when he chats with her on the telephone.
