If Bush thinks "I did my duty" finishes AWOL, he is sorely mistaken! |
|
We got him to come to our ground. Now let's get him to talk about the suspension. What was that about, Bush? Why didn't you take that required medical exam? Why didn't your pal James Bath take it? And where is Bath now, Bush?

8. I don't think so, as who knows WHAT they can get away with |
|
AFA faking stuff.
sounds farfetched, but who'd blow the whistle?
I agree with the suspension from flying/failure to take physical
How on earth is he going to explain THAT away?
there's no getting around that one that I can see.
where's the wiggle room there?
PLUS.....won't most of the American public realize what a sleazy, creepy, dirty trick that was, to weasel out on his contracted DUTY to ffly for the rest of his term.
Also, how often were people allowed to GET OUT of their last six months' worth of guard duty?
anyone heard about that happening?
that surely smacks of favoritism, too.

9. Another question he should be hammered on: How did he get into the Guard? |
|
Who did their "duty" to make sure the Bush boy didn't have to get anywhere near Vietnam?

This isn't going away - we're only getting started.
After what they did to Max Cleland, they truly deserve a dose of their own medicine.
This issue is a winner for Dems!

Who is this man Bath? Are you asking the rhetorical question Where Is He because you know something? Share it. I want to know, too.
Edited for politeness: Share it, Please.

5. We pretty much already know "who" Bath is, and he is usually in Houston. |
|
What we need to know is where Bath was while Bu$h was missing drills in TANG from 5/72 through, at least, 5/73. Lt. Bath was, like Lt. Bu$h, removed from flight status for failure to submit to a required military flight physical. Why did they not take the required flight physical? This is a crucial question that perhaps Bath can answer, since Bu$h - obviously - won't. Did Bath get his flight status re-instated with TANG? Did he return to TANG duty as a pilot? Did Bath, too, do "altruistic" community service - like Bu$h - in a Houston ghetto.
Never mind the Bath connections to the Bin Laden family. That remains another question for another day. On the question of AWOL, however, the Bath path could hang the Bu$h tush.

6. George W. Bush and James R. Bath were both suspended |
|
from flying for failure to take a required medical exam in August and September 1972. Bath went on to work for Bush's daddy in the CIA. He "allegedly" arranged for Salem bin Laden to invest $50,000 in Arbusto oil in 1978 (the year Bush Jr. ran unsuccessfully for Congress). Bath was a "liaison" for Saudi financier Khalid bin Mahfouz, who is "suspected" of funding al Qaeda, originally through BCCI, for which Bath was a financial officer. When Salem bin Laden (Osama's brother) was killed in a freak helicopter accident in Texas in the late 1980s, Bath and bin Mahfouz took over his share of some businesses in Houston. Bush Sr. "allegedly" used BCCI to finance Iran-Contra. Pablo Escobar, the Colombian drug lord, was another BCCI customer. "Allegedly" Colombian drug money was laundered to support the Contras.

7. It was a big issue among Dems, just not in the media. |
|
Kerry and Cleland were set to make a bigger issue of it when Bush's DUI in Maine broke.

10. The media gave * a free pass all along |
|
We were e-mailing links about all this stuff to all the major outlets, and what did we get? Nada, zip, zilch. The media are the main reason he got selected, they refused to tell the people just what a F***head he was.

13. the reason the media is paying attention in 2004 is because of the Net |
|
A lot more people are getting their news via the Net, thus the mainstream media HAS to give this issue some play; otherwise, they lose credibility.

11. I love the way he tries to defend his record via "honorable discharge" |
|
This could backfire on him, big time.
"If I hadn't shown up for drills, I wouldn't have received an honorable discharge."
Well, that kind of begs the question, doesn't it, mr. bush? Why DID you get that honorable discharge when you didn't show up for drills? Hmmm? Let's break out that DD214 and see what you did and when you did it, before we wax all sentimental about the "honorable" discharge. Maybe that "honorable" discharge was due to a clerical error, eh?
Oooh, if only we had a real press, this bush character would be so gone.

if a few thousand of our National Guardsmen, slated for a year in the Iraq quagmire, asked for six months leave to campaign for a Democrat?
How could ShrubCo refuse the request?
