In the scheme of things, this lie is no bigger than WMD, yellow cake, "(Ken Lay) supported Ann Richards", AF1 vandalism, and 20-30 other lies they've told over the last few years.

Gotta keep focus not only on this lie, but on *'s PATTERN OF DECEPTION :-)

I haven't posted here before, but so many people are sending me snippets from this board, I thought I'd comment.

As Assistant Editor of OnlineJournal.com, I often do a lot of guest appearances on land and Internet based radio programs. This past Friday I was a guest on Conversations at radioleft.com. We discussed at length every scandal and criminal act we could possibly list. I've been having similar discussions since I started doing radio guest appearances back in September 2000. The host at radioleft.com will be putting up Friday's interview as a special on-demand feature.

This interview reveals things many of you have never heard before. A new book coming out in March by Jim Moore, who wrote Bush's Brain about Karl Rove. This book includes an eyewitness account describing many crimes, but of special interest to everyone today...an eyewitness to Dan Bartlett going to Camp Mabry, TNG HQ, and "scrubbing" GWB's records of the AWOL documents. That is why GWB will state so confidently that there are nor ecords incriminating himself. GWB attempts to sidestep answering the question if he fulfilled his service commitment by stating he got an honorable discharge. This is classic Republican non-denial denial.

We also outlined the falsification of personnel readiness reports to the Pentagon by GWB and Daniel James defrauding the DoD of millions, GWB granted a Quid Pro Quo appointment to James as Director of the National Guard, in charge of our national airspace security for covering up the AWOL and other criminal acts. This was partially covered in a series of articles at USA Today in December 2001.

Lois Romano of the Washington Post is running some material from Jim Moore's book tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 10th. I hope my post is helpful and informative about facts previously ignored.

I was just reading calpundit.com and the posters there brought up the destruction of his TANG records. Also, they seem to have found an un-torn document showing Shrub's dates of service from 10/72 to 5/73. Very interesting stuff.

I am not sure this document is genuine. I'd have to show it to the witness of the record scrubbing and ask his opinion. My eyewitness was an officer in the TNG for many years and knows the major players personally on a first name basis. They hear his name and get all nervous and hostile. This eyewitness is still getting death threats on a regular basis...his name is LTC Bill Burkett and we're very close friends.

I was a close friend of Jim Hatfield and worked with him performing many hours of research. Everyone has forgotten that he paid the ultimate price for writing Fortunate Son. It cost him his life and reputation. No one seems to remember it was his book that started the questions about GWB's life back in 1999.

Jim Hatfield's last article written for OnJ (onlinejournal.com)was published July 3, 2001, mentioned a theory that Osama Bin Ladin would attack the WTC using explosives and remote control airplanes. This was more than two months prior to 9/11. How could Jim know anything to suspect such an event if the Bush adminsitration didn't know, too? People better start paying attention...they knew and allowed it to happen. Jim and I had many discussions as early as May 2001 that something bigger than Pearl Harbor had to occur for GWB to escape the results of the ballot counting in Florida by the newspapers.

Ever since the Plame story broke they've made no bones about being VERY unhappy with Junior. Funny how so many stories damaging to Junior are starting to appear in the mainstream media with remarkable regularity, isn't it? Could it be that Operation Mockingbird is still operating?

- THe necklacing of the FBI whistle-blower

- OBL's family flying around on 9/13/01

and wonder if this particular story (AWOL) will cause some of these others to be examined.

One thing that I think gives it traction is that BushBots can't help themselves. As long as they keep attack the loyalty and patriotism of Democrats, the AWOL issue will always float back up.

12. It's spreading, despite a powerful spin cycle

The AWOL story resurfaced at a particularly inopportune time for W, as his administration had just been shown to be, shall we say, less than forthright on the "march to war". Now, regardless of the denials and redirections from the white house spinners, including the president himself, people are starting to wonder.

The hard core who knee-jerk their support of shrub no matter what are going to vote for him anyway, even if he's interviewed on live tv while raping farm animals.

It's the people in the squishy center who are nurturing seeds of doubt from every second of coverage, be it accusation or rebuttal. So yes, the story has legs. The question is, will these legs be fast and furious enough to outrun the inevitable October surprise?
