There was the Reagan thing, but it got pulled. The Moveon ad was not played during the superbowl but I did see it later. Paul O'Neil was on 60 minutes.

It would be beautiful if CBS did turn on them but I think they really are trying to be fair and balanced for real. 60 minutes is great. They did a great piece on the West Bank fence.

15. Back around 1970, CBS was a bad thorn in the Repugs' side

Nixxon was heard to propose buying CBS so "we can get OUR story out." It's possible that there's some residual hatred left from that era (error), but it's more likely that the Pugs just want to punish any outlet that even LOOKS like it's getting out of line.

It's been a sad day for Freedom since 12/12/2000, y'know.
