How many "Assistant Press Secretaries" are there at the White House?

Guy I work with asked me this today -- says he just found out that his cousin is one of them. (He then added that his cousin is REALLY dumb and that his impression of the government just took a big nose dive knowing that he worked there... and this from a guy who damn near worships at the feet of Bush*....)

So anyone know the answer?
