Crawford 'Ranch'
Has anyone ever seen a picture of the Bush house on the 'ranch'? Not the haystack props and the old little house the reporters stand in front of, but the house they built and live in now. They like to act like they are real ranchers, but I read somewhere that it is a real mansion and obviously they don't want the general public to see it.

1. It's a modern "green" building

they hired real architects with up to date technology to conserve energy. Ironically....

4. Conference Center
I've seen that green Conference Center with all the windows when Bush had his Saudi pals there (remember seeing Cheney hiding inside in secret, but you could see him through the windows?). But that's not the house, I don't think. I don't believe there's ever been a public picture of the mansion.

7. Yes
That's the bldg I saw the Saudi princes going in w/ Bush and Cheney was hiding inside behind the windows on the right. The reporters covering the photo op referred to it as a Conference Center and place where meetings are held when Administration members come to the 'ranch'. I was hoping someone had a pic of their private home- the one the twins refuse to visit. I know they put in a pool and I have heard it referred to as a mansion, though he and Pickles like to portray themselves as just plain folks.

8. haystack props and the old little house not on Bush property!
not a big secret - but I smile when I see the media pretend.

Bush's home, a former pig ranch, does not feature horses/cows/etc

the best he can do is gathering brush from a golf cart - he is afraid of horses!

media secrets - funny, eh?

:-)

9. He bought the property...
while he was Texas governor, the house was finished just as the Supreme Court handed him the prize. Bush's "beloved Prairie Chapel Ranch" is small by Texas standards and occupies a site that was formerly a pig/hog farm. Crawford is in the area of rich blackland that was part of the cotton growing region in Texas. Waco, just to the south, was built by King Cotton. Ranch land is further to the west and south, where it's dry and rocky, not suitable for farming. Bush's house is a typical "Austin" style modern home. (If any of y'all decide to visit Texas, don't miss a trip to Austin.)

The Bush Team is shutting down the large and historic VA Hospital in Waco, why don't we raise hell about it? Thousands of WWII, Korea and Vietnam vets and those who served in Bush War I and Bush War II will have to travel down the highway to Temple, an already overcrowded and understaffed hospital.

11. 5 folks with go Kerry buttons are an illegal parade in Crawford - so
it's hard to raise hell about the VA Hospital in Waco!
