I knew he would screw up even though he had time to rehearse
He got all the questions in advance and rehearsed all the answers and he still screwed up more than once but this one is a dilly. Remember the constitution says we may attack another country only after being attacked or if they are an imminent threat. Here is what Bush* said.

"By the way, quoting a lot of their data in other words, this is unaccounted for stockpiles that you thought he had because I don't think America can stand by and hope for the best from a madman, and I believe it is essential I believe it is essential that when we see a threat, we deal with those threats before they become imminent. It's too late if they become imminent. It's too late in this new kind of war, and so that's why I made the decision I made."

We now feel we can attack before they become an imminent threat because Bush* says so. It is unconstitutional. He truely is an idiot. Hell I would be willing to bet Canada would be an imminent threat given time so we better invade now while we can.

1. Pearl Harbor was on last night
Which came out I believe the summer before 9/11. I happen to catch a scene where the commanding officer is surveying the carnage and he's handed a dispatch from Washington which warns of an imminent attack from Japan.

Just thought it was curious here was a scene which depicted an imminent warning arriving too late. But then again, supposedly the gov. really knew of the attack much earlier and did nothing to prevent, the precedent setting LIHOP if you will.

If the intelligence was there that Pearl Harbor could have been prevented, and the intelligence was there that 9/11 could have been prevented, an honest and moral administrative has no reason to attack before a threat is truly imminent.

2. But even with the message an attack could be imminent they didn't
suggest we attack Japan pre-emptively. It was a warning to be on our toes and defend ourselves if attacked. At no time was it ever ventured we should attack another country either Germany or Japan Pre-Emptively.
