At this time, let us remember Eugene Hasenfus!
http://www.costaverde.com/c123/capture.jpe For those too young to remember, this is the guy who started the Iran/Contra ball rolling when in Oct. 1986, a C-123 cargo plane was shot down over the jungles of Nicaragua. The only survivor was Eugene Hasenfus who, when asked by his captures who he worked for, stated "GEORGE BUSH".

As it turned out, Eugene worked for the CIA and the C-123 were transporting arms and drugs back and forth across the planet.

It always puzzled me why Eugene said he worked for "George Bush".

In 1986, George Bush was Vice-President. Eugene should have said, Ronald Reagan, the POTUS, the Commander-in-Chief.

Or was Reagan really the POTUS?

Was GHWB and the Troika actually running this country during the Reagan years?

Or maybe Eugene got his years mixed up - maybe he thought it was 1976 and George was still CIA Director and that's why he said he worked for George Bush?

But, then again, maybe Eugene was actually thinking that because George Bush was the self-appointed Drug Czar under Reagan and that he was running drugs in that C-123, then that's why he thought he worked for George Bush.

Maybe John Kerry can tell us? Or the History Channel can run a documentary about Iran/Contra - I think it's time to bring back the memories.

1. Seems like that was when Crack Cocaine mysteriously showed up
in the Ghettos of America. Poor man's Free base it was called. Real cheap and easy to make. Showed up in huge quantities which served several purposes. First it made money for their dirty little Contra war, second it hooked a lot of poor blacks on the shit and third it allowed them to put a large portion of the minority community behind bars and stripping them of their voting rights. They were smart about it and even though this is all common knowledge no one will ever pay a price for the damage done. These people really are the most despicable people on the planet.

2. I wonder where he is now?
How strange that people who are involved in activities that are, if not out and out illegal, extra-legal, should live unmolested and free while people who engage in constitutionally-protected freedom of speech and protest are rounded up, beaten, denied due process, jailed, and imprisoned. And die under "mysterious" circumstances.

Some blame the state of our nation on W. The truth is that the people lost control long ago. We have to be ready to sacrifice anything in order to get our country back.
