Did you know the workers of the world are uniting?
Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 02:09 PM by mac2
A World Trade Union is being formed to represent themselves in the World Union. Workers are fighting back around the world.

Globalization has brought about huge International Corporations. The PNAC (Plan for the New American Century) is for six or seven World Unions (EU, Americas, etc.). These all meet under the umbrella of the WTO (World Trade Organization).

PNAC Primer: Link: http://www.crisispapers.org/Editorials/PNAC-Primer.htm

The Americas: our Union under FTAA (Free Trade Agreement for the Americas). These are the countries: http://www.ftaa-alca.org/busfac/clist_e.asp The home page of the FTAA is Link: http://www.ftaa-alca.org/View_e.asp

Site for the FTAA in the Americas: Link: http://www.ftaa-alca.org/sitemap_e.asp Miami is on the list and Senator Graham is so happy that Miami (one of the poorest cities in the country) will be a center (Jeb Bush country). The Miami agreement addresses worker's right and free elections but with computer voting we will not determine our own leaders and future.

People have to understand that the borders will be porous for labor and trade but may not be for people fleeing, etc. It's very sinister as far as I can see. Americans aren't aware of it but worry about football games and missing teenagers (not that this isn't good to address but not the most important thing when their lives are about to change forever). What started out as a small obscure trade agreement has turned into trade/government unions around the world. Corporate power turned government that enslaves workers for their own power, profit, and war (to protect their interests) is called fascism.

To represent workers a world wide union organization called ICE (International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Unions). It is to be located in Brussels, Belgium). http://www.icem.org/uniteen.html

ICRM purpose:

"The ICEM often makes representations on workers' behalf to national authorities and international bodies. These include the relevant specialised UN agencies, such as the International Labour Organisation and the World Health Organisation.

The ICEM maintains close contact with the trade union movement's other sector-by-sector International Trade Secretariats, with the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions, with regional trade union bodies of all continents and with other organisations campaigning on issues that directly affect its members (for example, the environment and human rights).

The world's major employers are now organised globally. Trade unions cannot lag behind. The ICEM believes that industrial trade unionism worldwide must concentrate on its main tasks - improving workers' pay and conditions and recruiting new members."

This might be a good thing considering the plowed under mine workers, slave labor along pipelines, etc. What is needed also is a court to handle the criminal activity of the major employers and countries. Will this be the UN or the Hague?

The ICRM is fighting unfair labor practices in Burma and Russia (who get no pay). Link: http://www.icem.org/campaigns/camindexen.html

-Putin has just cancelled elections in Russia because of "terrorism". Is this his reason for workers that get no pay? This is a world wide power grab to put in place the World Unions and take away our rights. Are we, and the rest of the "willing" Neo Con lead WTO member countries, far behind?

Here are a list of the American affiliates. Link: http://www.icemna.org/eaffil.htm

Another world worker union is the International Workers of the World. Link: http://www.iww.org/

This World Order (now called World Union) has been in the works since after WWII. Link: http://www.penncrier.com/penncrier/pcnwompt.html It is not a new concept. All the strife and action has been toward that goal. Peace and disarm? I don't think so. People will not go along with this....power in the hands of so few.

Think about the big picture and it will be clear as to why a lot of things are happening now. They are happening very quickly (Clinton held them up eight years) because X-President says, he wants the Americans Union in place before he dies (said so at the 10th Anniversary of NAFTA on CSPAN. Videos might still be available it is not a hidden thing!!). People just can't grab or conceive of our leaders doing this to us. Can they?

What can we do? Support these unions and get the word out about PNAC. How about targeting each station nationally at a time demanding they tell Americans about this World Union plan and who is involved. Have a discussion. Let's start with FOX.
