20. Help from my fellow DUers...
I tried doing searches on the employer listed and found nothing. Then I tried a reverse search on the zip code by entering 36148 and 36149 in both a business database and the US Post Office zip code locater (reverse--enter the zip code and find the location identified by that zip code). Nothing came back: no businesses, no addresses. The US zip code database had the message "The ZIP Code you entered could not be found in our database. Please confirm the ZIP Code and try again."

Do zip codes change?

Here is a link to the US Post Office website. Please, fellow DUers try and see what you come up with (the business database is subscription only and cannot be accessed by non-subscribers). I may not be entering the right numbers.

under "Reason and Authority for Discharge", above

Is that the outfit in Colorado that just released these records*? Did Bush* ever show up there? We aren't even sure that he* showed up in Ala., now we've gotta track this down, too? And why would he be transferred to some other unit after he'd just been discharged?!

Maybe he was back in Kennebunkport the whole time, playing with his GI Joes...

"...and had completed 5 years, 4 months, and 5 days towards this obligation." I'm confused. I'm trying to figure out why he is being discharged prior to fulfilling his obligation. Reason and authority for discharge doesn't make sense to me. Can any Airmen here clarify this for this ex-Navy Wave?

(Bill Murray to Michael Jordan in Space Jam:

Bill: It's because I'm white isn't it?
Michael: No. Larry's white.
Bill: Larry isn't white, he's clear.

32. Yes...
unless you are not there to sign.

Also under #23, Qualifications: not much under 'aviation'. In facy, it states he is unqualified, (by saying 'none), for anything. It does state that he is an interceptor pilot, but it seems to me there should be a qualification there. But, then again, they rescinded his flying status. But he never even qualified with a 45 or 38.

This was put together by someone who could not get answers, because bush wasn't there. No one would allow an NG-22, (equivalent to an active DD-214), showing their record of service with what is here. then again, they mailed this to him.

They are Yankees and summer in the north in Maine. The press went along with this too..like he was a Texan.

Bush was born in Connecticut...probably in a wealthy area. His father and grandfather rich guys.

42. yup
I went to school in Greenwich Conn.. oh la la--this young student nurse met them all and even babysat to earn some bucks, for some of them, consistently. All very very wealthy and quite the elite.

They do "summer' here in Maine at Walker Point, in the "summer" community of "summer homes" on the beautiful, rugged coast of Maine in Kennebunkport.

It's a nice little trendy place with trendy little boutiques crowded in on it's Maine Street if you ever feel the need to visit.

In the winter, however, the place is damn deserted, full of ice and snow and the businesses are starving and most of them are closed. They have all gone to Florida.

None of them Bushes have done a thing for the people of Maine, however. Not a damn thing. This is a poor state but they continue to come here and leach off of the state while not contributing a cent to it.

Laura and her two dumb daughters recently went on a shopping and eating trip in NYC, I think. See, that is what is exciting to them--shopping and eating. Oh how wonderful to shop and eat and attend musicals!!

Please someone help us to get intelligent people back in as our leaders. We do not need crass, ignorant neuveau riche, bumbkins who like to eat and shop and attend musicals, and are not interested in anything else, representing us on the world scene.

We deserve better than the "let them eat cake" crowd.

41. He bought his "ranch" when he began campaining...
Since Bush bought the 1,600-acre property in August 1999, his motorcade has been spotted several times, pausing at the lone stoplight in town and passing the two blocks of mostly empty storefronts before traveling seven miles down a winding, two-lane road to the ranch.

33. It is not unusual to see DD214s unsigned by the discharged person.
That "not available for signature" is exactly what is inserted in that case. Of the 50 or so DD214s in my files at work, probably 10-15 are unsigned.

37. Person serving was a stand in?
Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 06:01 PM by mac2
Has anyone thought that the person serving as Bush might have been someone else...thus the height and signature missing and no one remembers see him? He got paid...but his commanding officers don't remember him?

If I didn't show up for months, my bosses would have remembered no matter how long ago it was. You don't forget that especially since Bush was a powerful name even then. He wasn't a nobody from the sticks.

The rich paid for someone else to serve for them during the Civil War.

Who knew, GW would be Governor or President? His brothers were more than likely to be favored. They should have been but had issues...that prevented it at the time. They are getting divorced now so that in 2008...no one will remember. They didn't plan on Georgie ever being President so not much care was taken to get his records right..the story, etc.

GW admits to being a drunk and druggie until after his 40s right? He was born in 1946. He was discharged in 1973. He would have been 26 years old. Link: http://gi.grolier.com/presidents/ea/bios/43pgwb.html

If this was true, it would have been the same time as his National Guard Service. He was not capable of serving properly was he?

That's my take of the situation that reporters might investigate. See if all the ones in his flight group are still living and how they died, etc. Dead men tell no tales.
