What Were Clinton's Positive Accomplishments?
Though I had some major problems with Clinton (NAFTA and other big business panderings), I supported his presidency. I thought he was a masterful and inspiring speaker (still is, of course) who articulated a positive vision for this country. But I'm unsure if much of my support was rooted in my contempt for his enemies.

What, in your opinion were Clinton's postive contributions to this country?

2. Truth. Honesty. Integrity, honor, compassion, consideration.... he cared
about PEOPLE and he cared about GOVERNMENT.

bush is owned by greed, slothfulness, obscenity, obscurity, violence, death, war, avarice.

Clinton is a man.

bush is a coward.

6. I think his economic accomplishments
We had strong economic growth, low unemployment and low inflation, leading to a record surplus when he left office. He made reducing the deficit a priority, and delivered, even though it meant he couldn't fund some of his initiatives as much as he wanted. I also supported his internvention in Bosnia and Kosovo and his efforts to bring peace to the ME.

13. Self-destructed??
I seem to recall he went out one of the most popular Presidents in history. But whatever  history is constantly being revised by certain elements.

12. Isn't it amazing though that every single Republican including Greenspan
said President Clinton's budget would bankrupt America. America went on to the greatest economic expansion in the History of the US. Every single Republican including Greenspan was proved demonstrably wrong Now they have a Republican pResident a Republican Congress and Greenspan is still there and they got their way and America has experienced the greatest economic turn around in it's history. But it wasn't President Clinton. No couldn't of been him. Greenspan has been there since Reagan and under every single Republican President the economy sunk like a rock but when a Democrat came into office and against the advice of every single Republican America Flourished. Yep had to be Greenspan alright

14. He did his homework, knew the numbers... showed up for work.....
rolled up his sleeves and got to business. Was engaging with individuals and institutions. Had some compassion. He had fun too, and not just Monika fun, but I think he really had a good time being president. I think he made a positive difference in this country and in the world. And people miss him more than is obvious, especially in other nations.
