At alt.marketing.online.ebay some right wing bigot posted this under subject "CHRISTIANS: Vote Republican November 2, 2004!".

I think this is what we are up against in November.


"This November 2004 Presidential election promises to be
a landslide victory for our great Judeo-Xian Republican
party across the nation. But the virulent and vitriolic
Anti-Xian "demo-slut" party--what little's left of it--
is pulling out all the stops. Everyone knows their poor

Friends, and silence the defunct minority of Anti-Xians
who are still trying desperately to poison our children

filthy homosexuality and support for kindappers of inno-
cent young children, their open support for rapists and
child-molesters, sadistic murderers and basically every-
thing that is an abomination to God and treason against
our Judeo-Xian majority of hard-working patriotic Ameri-
cans. President GW Bush is the best President we've had
since the founding of our Judeo-Xian nation in 1776. If
you do your part then you'll be sure to register & vote
this November to keep our God-fearing Commander & Chief
in his rightful and honorable place as our President of
the United States of America. The majority of Americans
believe in God, and that's how we know that Republicans

In Roman times the X was used as the symbol of Christ, in addition to the fish. Most people could not read or write, you know. And there was also the little matter of Christianity being an illegal religion, since it was believed to call for the overthrow of the secular government. So there had to be ways to get your message across without spelling it out.

Be that as it may, I believe the post to be parody. But knowledgeable Christians (admittedly a very tiny and shrinking minority) do use the X.
