Edited on Tue Feb-10-04 06:49 PM by Skinner
Author Eric Sisak (DU username: frank frankly) has generously donated 50 copies of his thriller The Book of Spiral to DU as a promotion for our fund drive! The next 50 people who donate $10 or more to DU will receive a copy of the book as a free gift! That's a $10 value, absolutely free!
Praise for The Book of Spiral"Sisak displays a similar style to the great detective novelists, starting with Poe." -- Pitt News, University of Pittsburgh
"The Book of Spiral is a scary, exciting book that sucked me in from page one, and left me disoriented and spooked. Sisak delivers the goods." -- Dave Mansueto, host of "Monday Talk Talk", PCTV
"Eric Sisak has written a beautiful and foreboding novel that is compelling, extremely potent, and contains an almost vertigo effect which will absorb the reader and demand a second reading. This book will occupy your time for just a short while and your mind for many years." -- Michael Ketter, host of "You Are What You Think", WBCQ Radio
"The Book of Spiral is an unexpected burst of clean, fierce horror." -- Richard Vyde, author, Interesting Pockets
"Sisak's imagination for disquieting details is boundless. Deft, ringing images leap off the page as if fleeing a child's nightmare. This is the read you've been waiting for." -- Pillbox , Carnegie Mellon University.Come on, everyone! Let's get our total number of donations up to 400 before midnight tonight!NOTE: This promotion ends when the leaderboard reaches 391. How do I know if I get the book? Is there a confirmation for the book that I did not see? Did I miss something?

And think its great of FrankFrankly to help out the cause in this way. The book sounds very interesting.
Since I sent a message in the message field of Paypal that said it sent an email to Skinner, am I suppose to send another one or is that one good enough?
Dear Skinner, Just saw your note, did I make it in time?
