Poll: Public's Trust in Bush Hits New Low
By WILL LESTER, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - The public's trust in President Bush (news - web sites) is at the lowest point of his presidency, with about half of those surveyed saying he is honest and trustworthy and almost that many saying he is not, according to a poll released Thursday.

The ABC News-Washington Post poll found that 52 percent felt Bush was trustworthy, while 42 percent did not. The poll found public support for the war in Iraq (news - web sites) slipping and people were about evenly split on whether they approve of the job he is doing as president or not.

For the first time in this poll, support for the war dipped just below half, 48 percent, with an equal share, 50 percent, saying it was not worth fighting.

7. The chimp is such a dumb ass.
But the real dumb asses are the 52% who still think he is trustworthy.

10. I'm Visualizing Barnyard Fowl And Am Grinning
I am visualizing barnyard fowl and am grinning. All those Boosh chickens are now coming home to roost, despite the arrogance and sloth of the corporate media and the lies and deception of the right-wing propaganda organs.

For the benefit of the right-wing lurkers out there, I'm not voting against George Bush the younger because I don't support the US troops in the Middle East and in Afghanistan. I do support the US troops.

But I am voting against the man who put those troops in Iraq under what are looking increasingly dubious reasons and I am voting against the man who dropped the mission in Afghanistan less than half-finished so he could duke it out with Saddam Hussein.

I plan to vote against George W. Bush because I am looking to the future of the USA. I don't want to give him the opportunity to make those sorts of mistakes again.
