Republicans - lets ban everything we don't like
Yet another case of Republicans trying to ban something that they don't like. First, they say that we need a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage and civil unions, and now this:

"Cloning human beings is wrong. It is unethical to tinker with human life," said Rep. Joe Pitts, R-Pa. A ban must be passed, he said, "before this unethical science comes to our shores."

The Bush administration favors such action and referred reporters to a statement by the president calling for "a comprehensive and effective ban."

So bush/Republicans are adding to their predictable mantra: terror, war, tax cuts, Clinton did it, and "BAN".

1. Typical Republican response
They fear what they can't understand--which apparently means cloning, stem cell research, and Janet Jackson's bare chest.

2. If they fear what they don't understand,
maybe that is why they are afraid of the truth.

8. I don't see the big deal.
I mean, Bush is a bigger boob then anything Janet could unleash on us, and we show him to our kids.

I also happen to think most people are mature enough to withstand a second of partially obscured breast--and explain it to quizzical children.
