White House press briefing website changed???
OK, trying not to be paranoid here, so somebody please confirm what I'm seeing here. I went to the White House site to find the transcript of today's press briefing. When I look at that page, it only shows archives through May 2003 -- and I KNOW more recent ones were there in that list yesterday.

However, because I found a link I'd saved, I'm able to see the one from Tuesday:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/02/20040210-3.html
and by altering the 10 to an 11, etc., I can see later ones :
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/02/20040211-3.html
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/02/20040212-3.html

But the question remains -- why can't you find those from the main link:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/briefings/

Is there some scrubbing going on?

I swear...when I click that, all I can see is through May
All I can is through May 2003. That is the weirdest thing. That's why I wanted to check to see if it was something hinky with my browser.

6. Here's the link
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/02/20040213-4.html

They changed the number after the date- dunno why.

BTW- here's a great quote (from near the end of the transcript):

<snip>
MR. McCLELLAN: We can agree to disagree on this issue, but I think it was very --

Q We're going to end up on the Daily Show again with this one.

MR. McCLELLAN: -- very clear about the context of the question.

John Stewart, you rock!

5. Can you post a link to today?
I don't know what's going on, but I can't see today's. All I get is two sentences about some bill that the resident supports.

4. isn't it also weird that they use the word "gaggle" instead of "briefing"
sometimes in the archive of Simple Scotty?

7. Gaggle means its less formal
A gaggle is usually when they get called together for a brief announcement -- and is not the same as a formal briefing where he'll take lengthy questions on any subject. Notice that oftentimes "gaggles" take place enroute to somewhere (like on Air Force One) and are updates on agendas, etc.
