Why's the media announcing that Captain Sadness* is going to be at Daytona |
|
500 for the annual NASCAR waste-of-oil-a-thon?
I mean, isn't President Apostate* worried about potential terrorism aimed specifically at him, butch as he is?
Oops, I forgot, "Bring 'em on". Is Bush* trying to prove himself by announcing his presence to the world? Doesn't this contradict all those times after his imposition of 9/11 where he ran and hid in several undisclosed locations?!
Something about this gambit stinks; stinks worse than a skunk farting in a sewage processing plant...

3. I think people want to see the drivers slip up and crash... |
|
I bet 50 cents that Captain Sadness* will have a front row seat... gotta see that potential carnage, naturally, so why see it from a lengthy distance?

4. Yeah, he sure makes me feel that America is *safer* |
|
I mean, my husband goes to the 500 each year, because it's one of those 'invited by the boss, so you have to go' sort of things. I've never worried about his safety there in the past... however when I heard that bush was going to be there, I immediately started to panic about the potential for terrorist attacks.
Doesn't that say something about how good a job bush is doing protecting us???

6. It's A Sign of Desperation |
|
The NASCAR crowd is his base. By going to Daytona, this shows that he needs to kiss up to his base. If he were comfortably ahead, he'd be going to African American and Latino events in order to ensure his sweep. Going to a Southern redneck event at this point in his presidency and at this point in the campaign is a sign that he doesn't have his base locked down.
In contrast, all groups of the Democratic party have gotten behind Kerry. It's like the Dems have said, "We're all getting behind one candidate to beat Bush". Dems hate Bush.
