Did anyone else happen to see C-SPAN just now?
Probably not the best night to ask, and the news isn't anything new, it was just amazing to watch.

It was a dinner hosted by AEI honoring Charles Krauthammer. That's basically all the needs to be said.

It was PNAC, just not the 90 page document. They cut to the crowd here and there. I caught Cheney and Wolfowitz in the crowd. Also Fred Thomson, the actor turned Senator.

Again, it was nothing new. But when you hear the major guys actually talking, and not spilling their thoughts onto a page, it catches your ear.

Talked about the different views of isolationism, liberalism/idealism, realism, and democratic globalism/democratic realism. The China/EU problem that comes after Islamic Terrorism. And of course how we'll win(applause break), basically no matter what we need to do(applause break).

It's always a hoot hearing from them. We're all going to die horribly.

1. Great post, AG78!
Bunch of deviated preverts talking about their deviated preverted monomaniacal fantasies.

And thanks to Rev. Moon, they'll emerge from the underground complex in the million-acre jungle redoubt in Paraguay to repopulate the barren world with their only surviving brethren, the cockroaches. A fine lot, theirs.

BTW: A hearty welcome to DU, AG78! May we never have to cross paths in Gitmo or the railyards.

2. I'd love to see this guy's 1040. Can you imagine where he gets his money
from and how much he gets.

3. Saw it earlier
Krauthammer was looking especially lugubrious, wasn't he?

The look fit with the message. The PNAC crowd still carry on as if they've been warmly received as liberators in Iraq.

5. Too bad
It seems to be closed for repairs indefinitely due to lack of funds in the damaged areas.

You DO realize he was appointed to a government position by J. Carter, and was a speech writer for Walter Mondale.
