"No one died when Clinton lied." - Roger Simon, editor of US News and World Report, on "Meet the Press" (with Tim Russert), February 15, 2004.

I was impressed to see someone on broadcast tv speak the truth so plainly.

"Meet the Press" was good today. All of the journalists Tim Russert had in his roundtable discussion seemed interested in giving honest answers.

It's different from many news-talk shows where each commentator is eager to score partisan points instead of making an honest evaluation.

"Clinton lied, Hillary cried; Bush lied, Thousands died" to my brother-in-law. He looked at me like I was psycho and asked how much time I spent on the internet (like it was a bad thing). :7
