Alabamian's--A Mission. Smoke out Smirk in the news.

I'm on a Alabama Democrats mailing list. Someone on that list suggested that we go to our local libraries and examine newspaper articles on microfiche during Oct. 29-31, 1972 to find any mention of *. I'm going to this week. See what you can find and report back. Birmingham and Montgomery papers should yield some information. That is all. :-)

edit - I'd broaden my scope a little - news could show up later than the 31st for an even that happened as early as the 28th.
