Liberal Mainstream - Mainstream Liberals |
|
The plan seems to be to bash the presumptive nominee because he is (gasp!) liberal.
I think we need to take over the word liberal and tie it to mainstream.
What the Republicans seem to want to do is to paint basically mainstream candidates as if they are liberal and what I would consider liberal candidates as wackos.
I think if they are going to call mainstream people liberals that we should take them up on it and get as many people - in letters to the editors, candidates in speeches, or whatever to use the two words side by side. Get an association. Like the "silent majority" - the "liberal mainstream".
What do you think?

1. It's already starting to backfire on them |

They are have already aired ads accusing candidates of just being from various states in New England, as if that in itself is a bad thing. So much for the "uniter not a divider".
