2. Lieberman should rally his supporters and --
-- run for the Governor's chair in Connecticut.

He is an able administrator and could govern that state with distinction, especially after the ugly matter with Rowland.

A more liberal Democrat would be as or more electable in Connecticut for the Senate seat.

His appointments would be moderate and New England would stay pretty blue.

There were many people who supported him and their loyalty to him could be tapped again to win the gubernatorial race.

I wish him and the people loyal to him the best.

9. Retire...
Finally retire, switch to Republican, and move to Israel to live out the rest of his life, as he already planned. You might think I am being sarcastic... I am not. Just wait a decade or two. He'll do exactly what I said.

10. Voters showed that his kind isn't wanted, no more wolf in sheeps clothing
I'm sick of D's that act and sound like R's. Lieberman is best off slipping slowly into the history books and let's be done with him.

12. He was soundly rejected by the voters.
Even by DLC voters. So the process worked in this case. That's informative; at least it sure pleased me to see that the primary voters were not taken in by his and Bush's almost identical message.

13. as a Senator
Speaking as a CT resident, he's been a decent senator - his voting record is pretty liberal. As a VP and presidential candidate, he has sucked.
