OMG-Is anyone else watching Dennis Miller tonight

He has Representative Rengal on (great guy) discussing the Iraq war. When Rengel brings up how wrong this war is etc..., Dennis says, don't you think there are some soldiers over there who have a "higher calling"!!, and dying was their calling!!!!???!!! What in the world, is Miller this bad all the time??? This is the first time I have watched.

By the way, Rengal ripped him on such a stupid question. Said, sure it's easy for us to say they have a higher calling when it is not you over there or your kids over there fighting....Went on with more.

9. I think he does us all a favor with that show

I've only seen a few clips, but he behaves like an arrogant prick and he's totally unqualified to talk about politics, so he loses every single argument and the guests are getting their say on air - reaching some people who would not otherwise be reachable.

He gets up on his high-horse many times only to fall on his face when the guest points out that he's not listening to them and therefore completely misunderstood the point they were making. I think that's due to his having his little "bon mots" written way in advance, and when they don't fit or refer to something that's been completely debunked, he kicks his own ass instead.

I say we should try to keep his show on the air. It's like a reality show where we get to watch a cheap whore earn his paycheck by debasing himself and his supporters to the point of painful and abject mortification and fall flat on his face, only to ignore that fact, get up and whore some more - gotta keep those GOP bucks coming in, you know...
