The guy was a lying sack of shit, but the amazing thing was that Laurence O'Donnell (he IS an MSBNC reporter, right??), just completely tore him up and called him a liar. Furthermore, he told everyone that John McCain had called Sampley a liar.

I've never watched killer Scarborough's show before, and I don't know much about O'Donnell, but I sure have been impressed with this particular program.

Sorry, I don't have Tivo or the like, but Laurence O'Donnell just called Sampley a liar AGAIN, then went on to explain how Kerry saved his life. He saved O'Donnell's life, O'Donnell said, because he (Laurence) was scheduled to be drafted and go to Vietnam. But people like Kerry were brave enough to protest. He finished with something like "so don't tell me who is patriotic and who isn't". He was really almost yelling at this hapless idiot, and the best part was that during his righteous tirade, his title "MSNBC Senior Political Analyst" was showing under his picture the whole time.
