Sure, why not? You know those little dead rat looking critters in the Quiznos t.v. ads. They have huge gyrating eyeballs, dental photo mouths, and they sing like Tiny Tim and Play guitar, and they are horrid, but effective.
The repubs have launched two equally stupid but ineffective shots at John Kerry in one week. First they trumpeted the lie that Kerry is somehow a traitor just because he criticized the Viet Nam war, in which he actually fought and received medals of honor, then they tried the tried and true, 'intern' attack. Both failed miserably, yet the faithful dittoheads will beat it to death.
They might as well hire the Quizno critters to feature in their ads. They'd float over unflattering pics of Kerry, superimposed onto photos of Jane Fonda at an anti war rally, and they'd sing,... ..."Ker-ry's a traitoooooorrr,...He loves Jane Fondaaaaa.... ...he had af-faaaaiiirrr....with a young interrrrnnnnn"......
Is this really all they have left to attack with? Was is just so effective against Bill that they figured it'd work on anyone? Why do they always reduce themselves to lies and attacks? Are they just lazy? Or is it just too easy to throw red meat to the die hard bushlovers and let the chips fall where they may?
Have they broken the law? A repub 'operative' even published a fake photo of Kerry and Jane Fonda together, which was quickly quashed. Can matt sludge be prosecuted for slander, for publishing the intern lie? Has this type of mudslinging become acceptable now?
It's going to be a rough year. The repub attack machine is lubricated and tuned up and ready to roll. When Bill ran for pres., I told myself that he'd better be made of steel cause they were going to give him no end of grief, and I was right. All they could do for 8 ------ years was attack him, and of course spend about 80 million doing it.
I say call in the Quiznos critters and crank out those attack ads against bushco. Have them floating around singing, "Saddam flew airplaaaaanes, into the towerrrrrrsss....and he had weaponnnnnsss.......aimed at Nebraskaaaaa....."
