Allen Greenspan and Social Security
Did anyone out there hear Allen Greenspans latest? He proposes cutting social security benefits to make Bush's tax cuts permanent! AND, he wants to reconfigure COLAs because he thinks the methods used are overinflated? Is he for real?

2. Un-frickin real, man
Greenspan seems to have become detached from reality and attached to the current administration.

Those two things -- reality and the current administration -- being mutually exclusive, it makes sense.

BTW, have you ever noticed that if something goes up in price too much, they find some way of removing it from the inflation indexes? I remember when the cost of a house was removed from the CPI, they said it was because people don't buy a new house every month.
